Arjun Mehta – Cricket Analyst & Staff Writer

Arjun was born in Pune and spent his formative years in a household where cricket was less a sport and more a religion. His father, a former club-level cricketer who never quite made it to the district team.

He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics at Savitribai Phule Pune University, which gave him the technical framework to match the instinctive feel for the game he had developed growing up. Numbers that once felt abstract started mapping directly onto the cricket he had watched and played his entire life. During his college years, he also played as an opening batsman for his university’s second eleven — not exceptional by any measure, he’ll be the first to admit, but good enough to understand what it feels like to face a quality left-arm seamer with a new ball under overcast skies.

Now 23 and based in Bengaluru, Arjun has transitioned fully into sports content — covering cricket betting markets, match analysis, and player form guides.

Outside of work, Arjun follows the IPL with the obsessiveness of someone who genuinely believes the toss decision at Chepauk deserves as much analysis as the batting lineup. He supports Royal Challengers Bengaluru with the quiet suffering that only long-time RCB fans will understand. On weekends, he plays fantasy cricket with a rotating group of college friends — and takes it, by his own admission, far too seriously.

Goal: To make cricket betting approachable and intelligent — not just for seasoned punters, but for anyone who’s ever watched a match and thought they knew what was coming next.
